Luminous Beings Are We

LBAW is an interactive, life-sized picture frame that viewers can stand behind to have their picture taken for social media posting. this works well when there’s a scenic view in the background.

Made from a welded 2” tubular steel octagon frame with triangular rays emanating from the center outward, crowning the person inside. The panels are CNC cut 3/4” marine grade MDO board, primed, routed and sanded, with designs directly printed onto both sides using UV inks from a large format flatbed printer. An acrylic sealer is applied to ensure longevity.

The entire sculpture is secured to the concrete pad using 4, 4” self tapping concrete anchor bolts through a 16” square steel base plate, or can be installed directly into the ground using a 20” diameter x 5’ deep concrete footer.
